Designing a towel rack for 3D printing in Fusion 360
What does one do when dissatisfied with the IKEA hooks for hanging towels?

You might have guessed it: 3D design and printing to the rescue. :-)
I designed a rather simple model in Fusion 360 (it’s interactive, btw):
[Right here should have been an interactive 3D model.]
and using 8mm hollow aluminium rods and a double-sided tape, I “fixed” it:

The design as well as the STL file are freely available under CC – BY NC SA license1. Just beware that since this was an early model, it’s of rather crappy quality.

The non-commercial bit because I don’t want to get into hot water with Autodesk since my license is the free hobbyist one. ↩
